provider-org

Definition

The organisation providing the money for the transaction (if omitted, the provider organisation is the reporting organisation).

Attributes

@ref

Machine-readable identification string for the business object being described.

This value must be of type xsd:string.

@provider-activity-id

If the funds are being provided from the budget of another activity that is reported to IATI, this should record the unique IATI activity identifier for that activity.

This value must be of type xsd:string.

Example Usage

The full name of the organisation making the financial transaction (receiving in the case of loan and interest repayments).:

<provider-org>Agency B</provider-org>

The unique Organisation Identifier for the provider-org:

<provider-org ref="BB-BBB-123456789-1234AA">Agency B</provider-org>

If the funds are being provided from another reported iati-activity, the unique iati-identifier is included:

<provider-org ref="BB-BBB-123456789" provider-activity-id="BB-BBB-123456789-1234AA">Agency B</provider-org>
