Definition

The human-readable name of the organisation. This element may be repeated to provide the name in different languages (using @xml:lang to distinguish).

Attributes

@xml:lang

ISO 2 letter code specifying the language of text in this element.

This value should be on the Language codelist.

Example Usage

Example of name of an iati-organisation.

This example also uses xml:lang to present the name in a language other than declared in iati-organisations:

  <name>Organisation name</name>
  <name xml:lang="fr">Nom de l'organisme</name>
