The starting date for the disbursement period, in ISO 8601 format (e.g. 2010-04-01 for 1 April 2010). This element must be present.



The ISO 8601 date.

This value must be of type xsd:date.

period-start/@iso-date must be before or the same as period-end/@iso-date

Example Usage

Example usage of period-start in context of planned-disbursement element.

A date in ISO 8601 format (YYYY-MM-DD) for the period-start date of the reporting period is required:

   <period-start iso-date="2014-01-01" />
   <period-end iso-date="2014-12-31" />
   <value currency="EUR" value-date="2014-01-01">3000</value>

Example that declares multiple planned-disbursement.

Note - in this example, only the period-start date element is present, to declare the disbursement is flagged for a specific date, rather than a period of time.
